1. Opening Activities

A. Call to Order

Mr. Kelly called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.

B. Pledge of Allegiance/National Anthem/Alaska Flag Song

C. Oath of Office

Ms. Sipes administered the Oath of Office to four elected Board Members.

Mr. Jason Tauriainen was sworn in as the District 3 member, Ms. Penny Vadla was sworn in as the District 4 member, Ms. Kelley Cizek was sworn in as the District 5 member, and Ms. Dianne MacRae was sworn in as the District 7 member.

D. District Mission Statement

Ms. Truesdell read the district mission statement.

E. Roll Call

Members Present: Ms. Kelley Cizek, Mr. Tim Daugharty, Ms. Dianne MacRae, Ms. Virginia Morgan, Mr. Matt Morse, Mr. Jason Tauriainen, Ms. Patti Truesdell, Mrs. Penny Vadla, Mr. Zen Kelly, Miss Maggie Grenier, Student Representative (attended virtually)

F. Approval of Agenda

The agenda was unanimously approved by all 9 members present.

G. Reorganization of the Board

Mr. Kelly called for the organization of the Board.

Mr. Kelly opened up nominations for President.

Ms. Vadla nominated Mr. Kelly for President.

Ms. Truesdell nominated Mr. Morse for President.

Mr. Morse spoke to his nomination.

Ms. Vadla spoke to nominating Mr. Kelly.

Mr. Kelly spoke to his nomination.

Mr. Kelly was elected President with a 6-3 secret ballot vote.

Mr. Kelly opened up nominations for Vice President.

Mr. Daugharty nominated Mr. Tauriainen for Vice President.

Seeing that there were no other nominations Mr. Tauriainen was elected as the Vice President.

Mr. Kelly opened up nominations for Clerk.

Ms. Truesdell nominated Ms. Vadla.

Ms. Vadla declined the position.

Mr. Kelly nominated Ms. Morgan.

Seeing that there were no other accepted nominations Ms. Morgan was elected as the Clerk.

Mr. Kelly opened up nominations for Treasurer.

Mr. Tauriainen nominated Ms. Vadla.

Seeing that there were no other nominations Ms. Vadla was elected as the Treasurer.

Mr. Kelly declared the Board organized.
