Background Information:

The Wellness Committee would like to present the following revisions to BP and AR 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity.  These revisions reflect new federal guidelines and the Alaska Gold Standard School Wellness Policy.

The Policy Review Committee reviewed both the BP and AR on Nov. 5, 2018.  It is presented here for your discussion and will be presented during the Dec. 3, 2018 meeting for a first reading.

Administration recommends that E 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity be retired as the current information is included in the AR and the exhibit is no longer needed.
