Background Information:

On April 4, the board voted to have President Vadla negotiate a contract with John O'Brien to be the district’s Interim Superintendent.  The two have agreed to terms for this position. The attached document details the changes being proposed to Mr. O'Brien’s current contract.  Approval of this addendum will officially place Mr. O'Brien as the KPBSD Interim Superintendent on July 1, 2019 until June 30, 2020.

The Assistant Superintendent of Instruction position will not be filled for the 2019-2020 school year.  The Interim Superintendent will continue to perform a substantial portion of the current Assistant Superintendent of Instruction's position.
