Background Information:
Through KPBSD's partnership with Project GRAD, the Kenai Peninsula Native Youth Leaders (KPNYL) program serves more than 150 students in grades 9-12 annually. Of the 164 members who participated during the first semester, 80 were Title VI students, 30 indicated they self-identify as Alaska Native or American Indian, and the remaining 54 identify as another race. Participation in KPNYL is open to all high school students, and this work session will provide an opportunity to learn more about KPNYL activities and outcomes.
