Background Information:
This Policy is the first in a series of policies which address the Title IX regulations mandated by the Department of Education. This policy addresses adult on student behaviors in accordance with Title IX and focuses solely on policy violations rather than criminal behaviors so that enforcement is more realistic. The policy was reviewed by a national expert in child sexual abuse.
At it's October 6, meeting, the committee was introduced to BP 4119.15 Sexual Misconduct. Ms. Patty Burley introduced the policy and asked for input from the committee at the next scheduled meeting.
At the November 2, meeting, the committee reviewed the policy and made suggested changes. Attached are the clean and mark up copies of the suggested changes from that meeting from Ms. Patty Burley.
