Background Information:
During this work session District Administration will provide an update to the Board of Education on the latest Covid-19 situation and return to in-person learning in KPBSD Schools. Items to be discussed:
- Up-to-date COVID-19 medical metrics on the Kenai Peninsula.
- COVID-19 vaccination information and update
- January 11th return to in-person on-site instruction for students under the revised Smart Start Plan Red Operations. While in Red/High Risk, Pre-K through 6th grades return five days per week and 7th through 12th grades return on A/B schedule.
- Examples of A/B Secondary Schedules
- Moving to Yellow/Medium Risk
- Site by site vs. regional closures (if necessary)
