We held three community budget meetings in February.
On February 15, the first community budget meeting was held at Homer High school in the library. We had 6 participants.
The second community budget meeting scheduled for February 16 at KCHS had to be rescheduled due to weather.
We held the KCHS meeting on February 23 in the KCHS library. This meeting also included remote participation for those that could not make it in person. We had 6 participants in-person and 11 remotely.
February 24 was the final community budget meeting held at Seward High school in their library. We had 18 participants sign in.
Conversations and questions focused on the FY23 budget, COVID-19 relief grant funds, and legislative information.
