Ms. Waller's resignation invokes the 30-day time frame for filling her vacant seat as per BB 9223 Filling Board Vacancies.

The vacancy has been advertised in the Peninsula Clarion, the district website and through other local media with the application period of Tuesday, September 13, 2022 through, Monday, September 26, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

The board will interview all eligible applicants. If appointed the person will fill the District 5 Sterling/Funny River position until the next regular election, in October 2023.

Candidate information and interview schedules will be posted as soon as candidate eligibility qualifications have been verified.

The doors will be closed during each interview and only open during the break in between. The board will accept written public comment from those in attendance only on the audience input forms.
