Background Information:

The Board approved the district's 2017-2022 Strategic Plan at their June 5, 2017 meeting.  As the current BP 0100 Philosophy is written, this requires a board policy revision.

In researching philosophy policies around the state and country, current practices are to adopt a public education philosophy such as the attached suggested revision.  Mr. Dusek will plan to attend this meeting and address why this type of policy is a better practice than adopting, in policy,  the district's strategic plan and revising the policy every five years.
