Background Information:

Board Policy 4112.10 Employment of Retired Teachers​​​​​​ authorizes and directs the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District to allow the rehire of retired teachers consistent with SB 185 and AS 14.20.136.

Resolution 23-24-2 Reemployment of Retirees completes the requirements of the AS 14.20.136 and will allow the district to move forward.

The administration recommends the approval of the resolution.
