      BP 0100 Philosophy:  The Board approved the district's 2017-2022 Strategic Plan at their June 5, 2017 meeting.  As BP 0100 Philosophy is currently written, each new strategic plan requires a board policy revision. In researching philosophy policies around the state and country, current practices are to adopt a public education philosophy.  On Sept. 11, 2017, the Policy Committee drafted the attached revision, based on administration recommendation.  The district strategic plan will become an exhibit to the policy which will be updated each time a new strategic plan is adopted. The revision was further discussed during a work session on Oct. 16. The revision is presented here for a first reading and will be presented for action at the Dec. 4, 2017 meeting.
