BP 6187 Charter Schools Policy and AR 6187 Charter School Guidelines were presented in committee on 01-13-2025 to begin discussion regarding potential revisions to further clarify the language and process. BP 6187 Charter Schools Policy and AR 6187 Charter School Guidelines were presented on 02-03-2025 in committee with revisions for further committee discussion. Committee moved both BP 6187 Charter Schools Policy and AR 6187 Charter School Guidelines to work session for input from the full Board.
After further review Administration has added revisions to AR 6187 Charter School Guidelines for cohesiveness between the process for establishing and renewing charter school applications. Both working and clean drafts of version 2 of AR 6187 Charter School Guidelines are attached. The previous draft of AR 6187 the committee reviewed is provided for transparency purposes.
