Background Information: Education Specification is a detailed plan that outlines the educational and facility needs for new and reconfiguration of schools. The completed Education Specification (Ed Spec) is a document that acts as a roadmap for designing and building of the consolidated school. It defines the types of spaces required, how those spaces should support teaching and learning, and the overall goals for the school's environment. This document is developed with input from educators, architects, and the community to ensure it reflects the needs of students, staff, and families. Soldotna Schools Education Specifications are for Redoubt Elementary, Soldotna Elementary, Soldotna Montessori, River City Academy and Connections Home School.
