BP 4112.6/4212.6/4312.6 Personnel Records was presented to the Policy Review Committee on 01-12-2026 with Administration’s recommended revisions in accordance with the AASB model policy. Administration initially verified that the term “records” could be used instead of “files” for consistency throughout the policy, and the revised draft was presented at the 02-02-2026 work session for input from the full Board. At the work session the policy was referred back to committee.

Upon further review of the AASB model policy, BP 4112.6/4212.6/4312.6 Personnel Records was presented in committee on 03-02-2026 with Administration’s recommendation to use the term “files” instead of “records” as this language aligns with the legally vetted AASB model policy.

BP 4112.6/4212.6/4312.6 Personnel Records was provided in work session on 04-06-2026 to receive input from the full Board and is now presented for a first reading on the agenda this evening.
