On December 4, 2017, the Charter School Oversight Committee met to discuss a proposal from Aurora Borealis Charter School to expand their grade alignment from the current K-8 configuration to include grades 9-12. During this meeting, numerous questions concerning curriculum and process were raised by board members. It was agreed that the Aurora Borealis Principal and APC would work to answer the questions and bring information back to a January meeting of the Charter School Advisory Committee. They are in the process of answering the questions and preparing material which will be made available at the January 15, 2017, Charter School Advisory Committee Meeting.
