Background Information:

Due to internal KPBSD candidates that intend on applying for the open superintendent's position, District administration engaged with the Alaska Association of School Boards to provide a proposal to support KPBSD in the search process.  This proposal is attached and it is recommended the board approve it to move forward in the search process as soon as possible.  This proposal also includes a recommendation for a follow-up workshop facilitated by AASB as part of the on-boarding process.  This component is also recommended by district administration and should be included in the MOA that is developed after overall approval.
