      Background Information:

      Attached are the tentative 2019-2020 board meeting dates.  All meetings are scheduled for the standard first Monday of the month except January 2020. The January meeting date is set take place after the winter break which ends Jan. 6, 2020.

      The April meeting date conflicts with the NSBA Annual Conference (see below) but is set to the first Monday, which will accommodate action on the FY21 Budget.

      Meetings will continue to begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Betty J. Glick Assembly Chambers unless otherwise noted.

      Feb. 8-11, 2020 Association of Alaska School Boards Legislative Fly-In

      March 27-31, 2020 Association of Alaska School Boards Spring Legislative Fly-In

      April 4 – 6, 2020 National School Boards Association Annual Conference
