        Background Information:

        This policy is revised to include any electronic nicotine delivery systems and to include an example of these items.

        The committee began work on this revision on Jan. 14, 2019. They completed their work at the Feb. 11, 2019 committee meeting. The board reviewed BP 5131.62 Tobacco during their March 4 work session.  It was presented on April 1 for a first reading and is presented here for action.

        Administration recommends approval BP 5131.62 Tobacco.
