          Background Information:

          The proposal will change the physical on site inspection requirement from weekly to every two weeks by the KPB Maintenance water operators. As the drinking water systems are currently monitored by SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), real-time cameras, and alarm systems; and as these automated systems operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; and as these systems have been in operation for many years without incident or compliance issues the recommendation is to approve the new Alternate Method of System Supervision (AMOSS) plan.
