      Background Information:

      Superintendent John O'Brien has made it known that he intends to retire in June 2021.  The board met earlier today in a work session to discuss and begin the 2021-2022 superintendent search process.

      Attached is the charge for the Superintendent Search Oversight Committee.  The committee will begin meeting in order to develop recommendations for the board to consider regarding recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes.

      President Vadla has appointed Mr. Zen Kelly, Ms. Debbie Cary, Ms. Virginia Morgan, and herself to the Superintendent Search Oversight Committee and requests board approval.

      Administration recommends the board reactivate the Superintendent Search Oversight Committee and approve the members assigned by President Vadla.
