Background Information:

The State of Alaska Department of Education has mandated that each school district submit a plan for starting school in 2020, by July 31.  After a two-month process, The 20 members of the KPBSD 2020 Smart Start Up Work Group has prepared a plan for the reopening of schools in August 2020 that will be reviewed and discussed with the KPBSD Board of Education.  The plan will address what education in our schools will look like in low, medium, and high risk COVID19 transmission scenarios.
