Background Information:

The committee met on 7-14-2020 and discussed the process for hiring a superintendent. Information regarding the RFP Process for selecting a firm was requested from administration for the 7-21-2020 meeting.

On 7-21-2020 the committee received an overview from KPBSD Human Resources Director, Nate Crabtree of the RFP process and criteria for selecting a search firm. They discussed the next steps for the Superintendent search, and began developing the timeline, reviewed the community survey and superintendent qualities and characteristics.

At the 8-3-2020 meeting, Human Resources Director, Nate Crabree will share the final RFP. They will also review AR 2122: Superintendent of Schools-Job Description and the language in AR 2121: Superintendent’s Contract.
