      Background Information:

      The Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and the Kenai Peninsula Educational Support Association contains language in Article 23, Unpaid Leave of Absence, that limits the employees that can access an unpaid leave of absence.

      Approval of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and the Kenai Peninsula Educational Support Association provides additional flexibility for the District to authorize employees to access unpaid leave for the 2020-2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
