Background Information:
The KPBSD Students in Transition Program serves students who are experiencing homelessness, district-wide. The RISE Program supports KPBSD students on the Central Peninsula who have “at-risk” indicators that may pose barriers to graduation. Both of these programs operate solely through the use of federal funds and donations. This work session will provide an update of these two programs and staff efforts during COVID-19 response (Spring, Summer, and Fall 2020).
