Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Policy BP 5123 addresses the criteria and process for retention/acceleration of any student. For the 2021-2022 school year, 58 students were considered for possible retention and two students were considered for possible acceleration under the above referenced policy. From 11 different schools, 31 students were retained and two students were accelerated.
