Public Content

Background Information:  On January 23, 2023, the Kenai Peninsula Borough Purchasing and Contracting Department Department formally solicited proposals for RFP23-014 Soldotna Elementary School Education Specification. The request for proposals was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion on January 24, 2023, and the Anchorage Daily News on January 23, 2023.  This Project is funded by the Educational Bond passed in October 2022.

On February 21, 2023 two proposals were received and distributed for review and evaluation based on the criteria contained in the RFP.

Based on the total score results, we ask that the School Board approve the recommendation for award of the educational specifications contract to Architects Alaska in the amount of $123,465.00.
