Background Information:
Board Policy 4112.10 Employment of Retired Teachers authorizes and directs the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District to allow the rehire of retired teachers consistent with SB 185 and AS 14.20.136.
Resolution 22-23-2 Reemployment of Retirees completes the requirements of the AS 14.20.136 and will allow the district to move forward.
The administration recommends the approval of the resolution.
