In 2016 the Borough accepted seven parcels of land from the Kenai Peninsula Building Authority, INC. Resolution 2016-55 identified the intent of any future proceeds from the sale of the subject properties be directed to KPBSD for the primary benefit of vocational education or other school district purposes.
The Land Management Division has approached the school district administration for consent from the Board to dispose of 2 of these properties in an upcoming general land sale auction.
KPBSD Board of Education has the authority to authorize the disposal of the parcels
