The Association of Alaska School Boards (AASB) is reviewing its Where We Stand resolutions in preparation for consideration by the membership at the upcoming annual conference. The working draft includes existing resolutions scheduled for renewal or sunset, along with newly proposed resolutions.
The Board has an opportunity to review these resolutions and identify any positions, concerns, or suggested amendments it would like communicated to AASB through Board Member Sarah Douthit, who serves as a subcommittee chair on the AASB Resolutions Committee.
Given the number of resolutions and the limited time available, the intent of this discussion is not to review each resolution individually, but to identify those of particular interest or importance to KPBSD and the communities we serve.

2. Are there resolutions that raise concerns or would benefit from clarification or amended language?
3. Are there additional resolutions the Board would like to bring forward for consideration?
