Background Information:
The Board Finance Committee is scheduled to meet and discuss the FY19 General Fund Budget on February 1, 2018. They will be reviewing multiple items, and discussing possible reductions to be made.
Attached below are two items for review. The first is a chart that illustrates the number of positions by FTE that will be reduced by incremental increases to the PTR levels used in our staffing formulas. The second is the chart reflecting the historical year ending amounts and the FY17 year ending Fund Balance amount for the General Fund. This item will be useful for any discussion of future fund balance usage.
Any recommendations generated from the Board Finance Committee will be brought forward to this work session for discussion.
