Background Information:
Over the past two years the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development has worked with a wide variety of stakeholders across Alaska to develop a plan to transform public education in our State. The culmination of this work are the Three Commitments to provide an excellent education for every student. Many of Alaska's school districts are considering a resolution to support the challenge and the commitments. Attached for discussion is a potential resolution and background on the Alaska Education Challenge.
