Board discussion on Career and Technical Education (CTE) and the School Counseling Program, and the positive impact these programs have on students within the KPBSD.

John Pothast will provide an overview of the status of KPBSD Career and Technical Education programing, introduce how CTE courses have impacted students in our district, graduation rates, and assisted in progress towards attainment of KPBSD Key Performance Indicator benchmarks.

Regarding the school counseling program, Mr. Pothast will also present information on Personal Learning and Career Plans (PLCP) status for KPBSD students, dual credit/Jump Start/TechPrep opportunities, APS awards and Advanced Placement opportunities.
