      Background Information:

      Attached is the draft Board Governance Handbook. There are still several sections to be completed by the committee. Prior to completing the remaining sections, the committee requests feedback and suggestions from the board regarding the 'existing' completed sections in this draft. The handbook will be reviewed during an August 6 work session and, tentatively, presented for board action at the Sept. 10 meeting.

      Note: The handbook is presented as a draft, without final formatting. The final formatting will be added after the categories and content are complete.
