This work session on School Safety will focus on four areas:

  1. Childhood Trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences, their impact on a child's educational experiences, and what services our schools provide to support our students in these areas.
  2. Threats and a current review of the KPBSD Threat Assessment Process.
  3. Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate (ALICE) Protocol & Staff Training
  4. An update on facility security upgrade plans
