      Background Information:

      In April, the board set the school board’s 2018-2019 meeting dates.

      The administration recommends that the April 8, 2019 meeting be advanced by one week to April 1, 2019. This request is made because the Association of Alaska School Boards moved the Spring Legislative Fly-In to April 6-9, 2019.  Usually 3 or more board members attend this event.

      The April 1 date conflicts with the National School Boards Association Annual Conference, which is March 30 - April 1.  However, only two board members will be attending this conference.
