      Background Information:


      This information serves as a yearend update for the Board regarding the District’s progress on the preapproval and tracking of the smaller competitive grant application efforts of staff members.

      In 2017-18 there were 97 applications reviewed and approved for submitting for FY18.

      On occasion we still find a few applications/awards we were not aware of but are continuing to train staff to use the preapproval form for any grant application efforts including funding efforts like Go Fund Me and Donors Choose.

      Attached is an informational update on the grant efforts of staff members and partnerships the district participates in. We have included all grant applications and partnerships we are aware of and realize we have likely missed some.
