      Background Information:

      Attached is a copy of the Aurora Borealis Charter High School Steering Committee's Dec. 14, 2018 letter to the board regarding their decision "not to proceed" with their charter application.

      Also, attached is our attorney's response to the question about whether the Kenai Peninsula Borough School Board may permit or reject Aurora Borealis Charter High School's request to include a preference for Aurora Borealis Charter School 8th graders into its proposed charter.
