Background Information:
The Board will be updated on the progress of the KPBSD 2020 School Start Up Work Group. Using the Alaska Smart Start Framework, this group is preparing for scenarios that range from a low risk (students are back in school with health precautions in place), medium risk (school open, but with fewer students in building, social distancing, health mandates) and high risk (students are not in the building, similar to our current situation).
The Board wll also be provided an update on summer facilities use protocols, safety mitigation plans, and summer student activities parameters.
