Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Policy BP 5123 addresses the criteria and process for retention/acceleration of any student. For the 2019-2020 school year 42 students were considered for possible retention and four students were considered for possible acceleration under the above referenced policy. From 13 different schools, 15 students were retained and three students were accelerated.
