      Background Information:

      BP 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity calls for an annual review of the wellness policy. Each year a survey is conducted of school administrators, school nurses, general education teachers, health teachers, physical education teachers, parents, and students. The goal of the surveys is to provide the School Board and the District Wellness Committee information to improve the quality of curriculum and instruction to support this policy’s implementation.

      In the 2019-2020 school year, the survey was not conducted due to the mandated COVID 19 protocols that were implemented in the last quarter.
