At this work session we will review the new building administrator evaluation system and handbook that the Effective Leadership Committee has spent the past year developing. At the Board of Education meeting later this evening there is an action item for approval of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Effective Leadership Handbook. Next steps after Board approval will be submission to the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (DEED) for state approval and formal professional development and training on the new system in August for our principals.
