BLease Agreements for 2023-2024

Background Information:

The following lease agreements are currently in effect for the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. These leases are negotiated and agreed to strictly between the School District and the lessee. They were not let out for proposals.

Boys & Girls Club: Agreements between the KPBSD and the Boys & Girls Club of the Kenai Peninsula for sharing space. KPBSD leases a portion of old Kenai Elementary building to the Boys & Girls Club in the amount of $850/per month.

Kachemak Selo School: KPBSD leases two facilities for use as a school, on a continual year-to-year lease. The lease of one facility is in the amount of $2,790/per month, paid to the Village of Kachemak-Selo; the second facility is leased for the amount of $1,350/per month, paid to Nikita Kuzmin.

Razdolna School: KPBSD leases two facilities for use as a school. the lease of one facility is with Razdolna's Community, LLC, this is a two-year lease, expiring on June 30, 2025 in the amount of $4,954.74/per month. The second facility is leased the Village of Razdolna, Inc. for $610/per month, the renewal is in progress.

Ritchie Community Property Trust: Fireweed Academy leases a facility to expand their charter school program to include K-2. This is a three-year Lease expiring in 2024.

Vosnesenka School: KPBSD leases a facility from the Voznesenka Community Council, Inc. for use as a school, in the amount of $11,009.25 per month.  An additional $3,225.60/per year paid in monthly instalments of $268.80 is paid for water.  This is in a five-year lease extension, expiring June 30, 2025.
