Background Information:
BP 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity calls for an annual review of the wellness policy. Each year a survey is conducted. The goal of the surveys is to provide the School Board and the District Wellness Committee informationto improve the quality of curriculum and instruction to support this policy’s implementation.
The KPBSD District Instructional Team met, discussed and determined to streamline and reduce the number of surveys given to students. Thus, the KPBSD Health and Wellness questions were added to the Hanover School Climate and Mindset survey that was distributed in March 2023. It is hopeful this decision assisted in avoiding on-line survey fatigue and to ensure better data.
