Background Information: The Board is required to set the district’s six-year capital plan priorities per AS 14.08.101. The priority set by the board directly affects the scoring of all applications submitted to DEED for state aid funding consideration. This grant program is the primary source of state funding for school capital projects. The grant requires a 35% local match for Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.
