        An important means by which an organization evaluates it's success and effectiveness is through identifying Key Performance Indicators and how those indicators will be assessed.  As a public school district with a mission of educating and preparing students for Life, College, and Career, KPBSD's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are focused on student learning and achievement outcomes.  As discussed at a November Board work session we plan on using our new data visualization tool (Tableau) as a means of publically displaying our progress in making growth on each KPI. Those data visualization dashboards are still under development but progress is being made.

        Our goal is to bring our finalized Key Performance Indicators to the Board for approval in the Spring of 2018.  At that time most of our data dashboards should also be fully developed and ready for a board presentation and then public display on the district website.  Administration is currently reviewing which policies our KPI's should be referenced in and an accompanying Exhibit included which would outline what our current KPI's are.
