Attached are the proposed 2026-2027 Board meeting dates. All regular business meetings are scheduled for the standard first Monday of the month except September and January.

The September meeting is set to take place after Labor Day.

The January meeting date is set to take place after the winter break.

Meetings will continue to be held in the Betty J. Glick Assembly Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Noteworthy Dates: 

November 3, 2026: Elections (local and federal)

November 5-8, 2026: Association of Alaska School Boards Annual Fall Conference

November 16, 2026: Organization of the Board (Per AS 14.14.070 the Board has 7 days after the certification of the local election results to organize and elect officers.)
