AASB resolutions provide the authority needed for the Association to respond when approached by the Legislature or other parties. Districts are encouraged to review existing resolutions and consider potential amendments or new proposals, as well as identify important topics that may not yet be addressed in the current resolution.
To comment on or suggest changes to the resolutions, AASB requests boards to schedule time to discuss the resolutions at a regular meeting and vote by official board action. AASB requires all submissions of comments, new resolutions, or amended resolutions be submitted by October 7, 2026.
