The Board of Education's adopted rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Robert's Rules of Order, provide for a consent agenda listing several items for approval of the Board by a single motion. Documentation concerning these items has been provided to all board members and the public in advance to assure an extensive and thorough review. Items may be removed from the consent agenda at the request of any board member.

BP 6161.5 High-Quality Instruction and Purposeful Use of Technology was presented on 08-03-2026 in committee as a new policy at Administration's recommendation. Committee postponed this policy to the 09-14-2026 committee meeting for further discussion and Administration's recommended revisions. Version 2 was presented as an alternative to the initial draft policy and was moved forward by committee to the 10-05-2026 work session for input from the full Board. The title has been changed to High-Quality Instruction and Intentional Use of Technology. BP 6161.5 High-Quality Instruction and Intentional Use of Technology is presented on the agenda this evening for a first reading.
