          Background Information:


          The Career and Technical Education Committee met on March 12th, October 6th, 7th, and 26th 2016.  Completed CTE Curriculum includes courses offered in the following pathways: Business and Information Systems, Construction, Architecture and Drafting, Engineering, Health Science, Human Services, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology and Transportation. Courses have been updated and aligned to Alaska State Standards and current Industry Standards. Following this work session to review the curriculum, it will be presented for approval as an action item at this evening’s Board meeting (Jan. 16).
