      Background Information:

      Borough Maintenance in conjunction with School District IT are completing the performance specifications for obtaining the key card access system components. In order to assist with the installation, the attached priority list has been created to list the order of system installation. Consideration was given to:

      1. Past history of intrusions
      2. School neighborhoods
      3. Ability for offices to observe entries
      4. Age groups in facility

      Once the first facility has been installed and labor requirements / costs are established, a time schedule will be attached to show when each school can expect to have their system installed. Borough Maintenance is currently projecting that each system will take approximately 5-8 days to install.
